Sponsored Program

Our 7 day program is made possible due to the generosity of our local Rotary Clubs of District 9620. Rotary is a global humanitarian organisation dedicated to improving the lives of people across the globe. Rotarians are passionate about supporting the youth of today, giving them opportunities for leadership, self-development and community service to create a positive future for us all. Each participant is paired with a Rotary Club (usually their local one) who will sponsor them to attend the week. Since 2011, we are proud to say that close to 300 participants have been sponsored to attend our program, all walking away feeling confident and excited for what is next.

"I went into RYTS not knowing what to expect. I never would have imagined that I would leave with so many tools to aid me in the real world, but most importantly I made so many strong friendships with such a range of people that have each had an impact on me, shaping me into the person I am today. Every day was jammed packed with new and exciting activities. I am so thankful for being able to take part on RYTS 2014, it honestly meant so much to me and I had such an amazing time! It has been one of the best experiences of my life so far."

"Doing RYTS was one of the best decisions I've ever made. Before I went I had no idea what to expect but I took away so much more than I ever could have imagined. The week was so much fun and I learnt so many valuable lessons about myself, and life in general, along the way. Even though we were only together for a short time, I became so close to all the participants who went and consider them some of my best friends. The leaders were all so lovely and it was clear that they really cared about us and wanted us to take as much away from the camp as possible. I'm so grateful that I went and would encourage everybody to sign up as it truly is a life changing experience."

"RYTS changed everything in the most positive way for me. If it weren't for RYTS I wouldn't be where I am today. It gave me courage. It helped me find my passion that is working with youth. It brought me to be a leader at RYPEN and RYTS. I joined Rotaract. I'm going to Africa to climb Mt Kilimanjaro. I'm back at uni studying a different course and LOVING IT! And I've achieved my goals of skydiving and completing a triathlon. In addition I have some of the most amazing friends and role models in my life and I could not be more grateful for that! Definitely one of my most life changing experiences".
